Requirements

  • 10 years relevant masonry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Oman/GCC experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of Oman construction practices and site procedures.
  • Good communication, leadership and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage workers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute masonry and structural blockwork according to approved drawings.
  • Carry out concrete block, hollow block and related masonry works.
  • Set out walls according to required dimensions and levels.
  • Read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
  • Construct walls, partitions and associated masonry elements.
  • Maintain correct line, level, plumb and alignment.
  • Execute lintels, openings and related structural masonry works.
  • Coordinate work with site engineers and supervisors.
  • Maintain good workmanship and productivity.
  • Follow site safety procedures and instructions.
