Architectural Mason
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Oman experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of architectural construction and masonry.
- Ability to read basic drawings and understand dimensions.
- Excellent finishing and workmanship skills.
- Experience in villas, residential buildings, and commercial projects preferred.
- Experience in high-end finishing and decorative masonry is an advantage.
- Previous experience working with consultants and contractors in Oman preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute architectural masonry and finishing works.
- Construct block walls, partitions, and architectural features.
- Complete decorative masonry according to architectural drawings.
- Maintain accurate dimensions, alignment, level, and plumb.
- Prepare openings for doors, windows, and MEP services.
- Coordinate masonry activities with electrical and plumbing teams.
- Prepare walls before plastering and finishing works.
- Execute internal and external masonry works.
- Handle architectural details, curves, edges, and special finishes.
- Maintain excellent finishing quality and workmanship.
- Identify defects and carry out necessary rectification.
- Follow approved project drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with site engineers and foremen.
- Control material wastage.
- Maintain site safety and good housekeeping.
