MEP Technician
Requirements
- Technical qualification or certification in MEP is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant MEP experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Oman experience preferred.
- Strong experience in building MEP works.
- Good knowledge of plumbing, sanitary, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings.
- Experience in villa and commercial building projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MEP installation and maintenance activities.
- Install and maintain plumbing systems.
- Support electrical installation works where applicable.
- Execute HVAC-related installation and maintenance works.
- Read MEP drawings and understand installation layouts.
- Install water-supply and drainage pipework.
- Install sanitary fixtures and associated connections.
- Coordinate MEP works with civil and architectural teams.
- Identify and rectify leaks and installation defects.
- Conduct testing of plumbing and related systems.
- Assist engineers during inspection and testing activities.
- Follow approved drawings, specifications, and installation procedures.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Follow site safety procedures.
- Coordinate with other trades to prevent installation clashes.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Complete assigned works according to project schedules.
