Painter – Civil / Villa / Building
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional painting experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Oman experience preferred.
- Strong experience in villa and building painting works.
- Good knowledge of interior and exterior paint systems.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with major paint brands used in Oman is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute internal and external painting works.
- Prepare walls and ceilings before painting.
- Perform surface preparation, sanding, filling, and rectification.
- Apply primer, putty, and finishing coats.
- Apply emulsion, acrylic, and other approved paint systems.
- Carry out decorative painting works when required.
- Work on villas, apartments, commercial buildings, and other structures.
- Follow approved colour schemes and project specifications.
- Ensure uniform colour application and smooth finishes.
- Identify cracks, dampness, and other surface defects before painting.
- Perform touch-up and rectification works.
- Protect floors, doors, windows, and completed surfaces during painting.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Minimize paint and material wastage.
- Follow safety requirements when working at heights or on scaffolding.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Coordinate with site engineers and finishing teams.
