Construction Foreman Cum Driver
Requirements
Driving & Logistics
- Safely operate company/project vehicles.
- Transport workers, materials, tools, and documents as required.
- Collect and deliver construction materials.
- Support site logistics and procurement activities.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic checks.
- Report vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Follow Oman traffic regulations.
- Maintain vehicle usage and fuel records where required.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of construction experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Oman experience preferred.
- Strong construction-site supervision experience.
- Previous experience working as a construction foreman.
- Valid Oman driving licence preferred/required.
- Good knowledge of Oman roads and construction locations.
- Ability to supervise and manage workers effectively.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working in active construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities.
- Allocate workers according to daily site requirements.
- Monitor manpower productivity and performance.
- Coordinate with engineers and project management.
- Supervise masons, helpers, and other site workers.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings and instructions.
- Monitor quality and workmanship.
- Check and communicate site material requirements.
- Coordinate different trades and construction activities.
- Maintain daily work progress records.
- Ensure workers comply with HSE requirements.
- Report delays, material shortages, and site-related issues.
- Maintain site discipline and housekeeping.
- Ensure work is completed according to project schedules.
